Fashion designers are now making collections for clients who enjoy showing off their outfits on social media. This makes designers less concerned about what the gurus on the fashion runways might want to see. Product and furniture designers and interior designers have also begun to shape their design cycles around the ‘selfie philosophy’, and now the world is getting closer to a future defined by augmented reality, based on blockchain technology, the foundation of the crypto world.

Cryptography, otherwise known as NFTs or non-fungible tokens, is the digital representation of a design or artwork. NFTs demonstrate the affinity of culture with technology, affecting a number of key industries. All that is required is the ability to create conceptual art that exists purely in the mind of the creator. Therefore, this current opens up a completely new dimension for people who are creative by nature. For example, there are many examples of 12-year-olds selling their artwork for over a million dollars. Soon it will not be necessary to finish college to start working. If you have the talent and ability to market yourself, NFTs will do the rest.
NFTs form a stoichiometric field. Class, color, race and region will become more democratic. Pure competence and the ability to absorb the imagination of this market will be key determinants of success. It’s also a very comprehensive platform – anyone, even hoteliers, architects, doctors and scientists can create an NFT and make waves in niche markets like WazirX.

There are two nuances of NFT trading. The first is the price chosen for the artwork, which is generally shared with the market. But since then, every time the artwork is sold, you can ask for a small percentage of the secondary sale. In other words, we really guarantee you ownership for the rest of your life, if people buy and sell your artwork forever. This is a boon for luxury fashion items, as they will always have a secondary retail market value rather than lose value as they currently do.
As a designer brand, I plan to create kits in the future that can be sold as NFTs. If we do not adapt, we become redundant.
