Inspired by the concept of a 25-meter solar-powered boat designed by Lazzarini called the Pagurus, this giant crab is capable of becoming amphibious thanks to the retractable cylinders at the bottom of the twin steel hulls. When deployed, this lowers the yacht by 60 cm and allows him to “crawl” up on the shores. Elsewhere, the concept features accommodation for eight guests and four crew members, while power comes from twin propellers and twin diesel engines up to 24 knots.

Strengthening the concept’s environmentally-focused credentials are the hydrogen power cells that enable Norway to sail in the absence of light. The central mast conceals a “sky lift” that transports guests to greater heights to enjoy uninterrupted ocean views.
