Am I the only one who’s disappointed that the female MC, whom we thought we finally have a new manga with a female MC — spoiler[ actually ended up killed instead. The male MC ended become (another) widowed dad. I feel like they kill off the former female MC for just being a wife and a mother, I think she is a plot device for Male MC and their son. It’s Oshi no Ko all over again (Ai, the former female MC, also ended up killed … for just being mother to Aqua and Ruby). The ending is so cliche. ]

Do you mean for an action series? If not, we got Akane-Banashi last week that have an great female MC. There also, Witch Watch that has been going for awhile

Female MC in Shonen Jump:
– Akane banashi
– Me & Roboco (to some extent)
– Protect me, Shugomaru
– Witch Watch
And until past week we had Ruru in Magu-chan (Ruru). And in Manga Plus we got several series, too (Torture, Ghost Reaper Girl, Magilumiere…)
