A 77-year-old man from Reed Plantation was pulled from his car Thursday morning after he drove off Military Road in Macwahoc and crashed into several trees.
Maine State Police said Harold Meadow of Red Plantation, Maine, was heading south on Military Road around 10:12 a.m. when he lost control of his 2013 Chrysler 200 due to a road crush. He hit a handrail after sliding and ended up hitting trees in the trench.
Mattawamkeag Fire & Rescue pulled the promoter out of his car and transported him to Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln. Police said he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Trooper Jared Sylvia of Maine State Police, Troop F, responded to the incident.
The car was a complete loss.
