“Our vision was to transform the spa, choreographing a great guest experience with a sense of place and exclusivity through attention to design, detail and service,” he said. Scott Studsteel, Spa Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. “The Spa Redesign does just that, offering a daily dose of nature in a luxurious and relaxing setting, and we look forward to welcoming spa visitors to experience our elegant new look along with all-new treatment options for a refreshing and luxurious spa experience.”
The intricate new design draws inspiration from rich, manicured and woven urban parks and gardens throughout the heart of Dallas. Beyond the spa doors—which feature weathered bronze knobs that resemble natural tree branches—visitors of the spa are greeted by one of the design highlights, a stunning, full-size, hand-forged metal trellis, sculpted by a local artist, Larry WhiteleyKnown for his nature-inspired art pieces. As guests pass under the statue as they enter The Spa, they can admire the intricate and delicate details, including delicately shaped vines, leaves, blossoms, and flowers.
Tranquility flows through each room as the overall palate consists of crisp whites and bronze metals with touches of purple, lavender and blue, in honor of the elegant nearby orchids. Soaring ceilings create the effect of vaulted lighting, and elegant lighting fixtures composed of branches and crystals adorn each corridor. Abstract watercolor art pieces are carefully hung in each room to deliver a daily dose of nature.
To complement the spa’s luxurious new aesthetic, the new treatment menu has been carefully curated, and includes two informative treatments. Inspired by the natural indoor setting of a spa, these treatments use the natural healing properties of diamonds and CBD to rejuvenate tired muscles and skin. Designed to improve skin’s elasticity and radiance, the soothing “Diamond Face” enhances the skin’s natural defense system. For a complete mind-body treatment experience, the “Calm, Balance, and Delight” treatment uses edible and soothing hemp cranial techniques to boost overall health and immunity, followed immediately by a luxurious full-body massage and CBD foot treatment.
The spa renovation included a reimagining of the entrance, reception and retail areas, elegant upgrades to the nail spa and hair salon, uplifting of the men’s and women’s relaxation lounges, a brand new spa dining hall and a reconfiguration of the existing treatment rooms with the addition of two new rooms.
