Meridian, Miss (WTO) – Almost two weeks after the Threefoot Hotel officially cut the ribbon and opened its doors, hotel leaders say things are going well.
“The exposure the hotel got from that was fantastic. We’ve seen business growth,” said Jeremy Campbell, regional sales manager. “Last week we were one of the host hotels for the Mississippi Theater Association.”
Campbell said the 6:01 local restaurant and Boxcar bar was a smash hit.
Starbucks has yet to open, but progress is being made on its future location on the ground floor of Threefoot.
“We met up with the Starbucks design team. They are in the process of finalizing all of their plans on the interior of the space. This will be a full service Starbucks,” Campbell said.
Campbell said things could always be better. Currently, the entire industry is facing labor shortages. This can affect opening hours and service, however, Threefoot Hotel is looking to the future.
“We have a new CEO who is making his community debut soon. He’s already taken the lead in the kitchen. He has a great menu for Valentine’s Day coming up, so check out our Facebook page to see all the announcements.”
