The General Assembly is looking for experienced people Interior Designer to join their team.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Preparing and developing presentations and design documents
- Managing furniture budgets
- Liaise with external consultants and design teams to keep projects on schedule and budget
- Source and polish furniture, finishes and materials including fabrics, decor, lighting, electrical and plumbing fixtures and accessories
qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a residential design company
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the design process and specifications of furniture, products and materials.
- Ability to draw and detail custom mill designs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and SketchUp.
- Must be flexible, self-starter, and keep pace with the evolving requirements of the job
- Strong customer presentation skills
