This fall is shaping up to be an ongoing celebration of design, which means interior designThe 16th annual Best of the Year Awards, hosted by editor-in-chief Cindy Allen, is fast approaching. Don’t miss the opportunity to apply today, July 14, through September 22 to honor the best product and project designs in the industry, as well as outstanding architects, designers, manufacturers, and students.
New categories for the 2021 Best of the Year Awards include: People Landscape Architect and Product Re-release. There are also three additions to the projects, including Iconic Project, Senior Living, and Staircase. Applications will close on September 22, 2021 with the finalists announced in November.
The winners will be announced and celebrated in a virtual party hosted by Allen live interior designDesignTV by SANDOW homepage as well as Facebook. More details about the 2021 Best of the Year Awards will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
Application details can be found here and eligibility requirements are as follows:
products: All applications submitted to the market must be submitted between September 2020 and September 2021.
Projects: All project submissions must be completed between September 2020 and September 2021, with the exception of “on boards” categories for projects in progress.
People: All people offerings must be from active design professionals, including designers, architects, and manufacturers.
the students: All applications from students must be graduate or undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited design program. Products must be launched or showcased, either in conjunction with a (virtual) semester or show in 2021.
