Sandra Joan (Billette) Sutton died at home in the midst of her family on January 6, 2022. Sandra is survived by her younger sister, Malinda Burke, and her three daughters, Louis Dostalek of Lancaster. Kimberly Mark Dillestown with husband Kimberly George; And finally, the youngest Sally Puff from Harrisburg. She was born on June 30, 1939 and married to Michael E. They always felt that their greatest accomplishments were their three daughters, Louis, Kimberly and Sally until his early death at the age of 39. Sandra married Ralph Sutton and they had 25 years of a loving and respectful marriage. Sandra was a self-taught and self-taught woman who, despite great odds and severe hearing impairment, became an educated individual with a thorough understanding and knowledge of issues and topics. She constantly elevates any occasion with enthusiasm and joy! Sandra’s greatest love has always been her two adorable daughters and two cats (Hugo and Hana). Sandra at an early age showed artistic talent and artistic flair for interior design and gardening, which she inherited from her mother. At a very young age, Sandra began decorating the window and shop windows of many well-known retail establishments. Sandra has read over 100 books on floriculture and knows the botanical/Latin names of all the different flowers in her garden. Her daughters often teased that their mother’s flower garden was really “Little Longwood Gardens”. Several of her neighbors stopped by to get a closer look at her wonderful show, which Sandra was happy to share with them and answer any questions they might have. Sandra’s talent for interior design and decor was recognized by anyone who entered her home, and this talent was surely passed on to her daughters. Sandra was especially proud that her home had been professionally photographed and featured by the community builder/developer. Sandra was also thirsty for knowledge and read anywhere from 2 to 4 books a week ranging from biographies, nonfiction, fiction, self-help, gardening, etc. With impatience and a quirky sense of humor. She definitely knew what she wanted; And by Jove, she’d have it when she wanted it. Sandra loved sharing her belongings with others discreetly, hoping to spread kindness. Mom loved her daughters alike, and it’s true that although the girls have similarities, they are incredibly different. However, when my mom needed her daughters to be there for her, those were the proudest moments as her daughters always came up with a real “Sisters of the Traveling Pants” kind of fashion. In times like these, we realize that life is precious, that tomorrow is not guaranteed, and how we come together in times of crisis can be defining moments. Sandra, no doubt, was proud of her daughters because they loved so dearly and faced their imminent death with love, compassion, care and making the dying mother’s wish to be at home a reality. Mom will be remembered for different things by different people. A special family gathering will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Sandra Sutton, our mother, our now permanent angel. The family would also like to say thanks and thanks for the care they provided include Rehab Mechanicsburg, Hospice in Central Pennsylvania, One Love Home Healthcare, Primary Care Physician and also her neighbor Dr. Stephen Neby (who has always shown Mum such care); Finally, Tracy LeVeque, who has been a personal assistant for years and has helped her in countless ways; Many of them have improved her quality of life making Tracy a special friend and family lover. We would also like to express our appreciation to all those who serve in the healthcare industry (such as doctors, nurses, aides, etc.) as they continue to be understaffed and overwhelmed by COVID cases, etc. All those who need their care.
