The project involved the street-level building renovation of the Six N Five design studio. It consists of a multi-purpose space, mainly used as an office, but also as a showroom, with space for presentations, a small workshop for creating small prototypes, a virtual entertainment and entertainment area, and a cafe area. In general, a multidisciplinary space open to the city with small cultural activities, and one that requires lighting for all tasks.
“The diverse spaces to be allocated and the huge heights made it possible to create a space in the upper section to house the workshop and storage area,” said Isrem Serra, the interior designer on the project. “This mezzanine also allows us to separate the public area from the more private areas.”
The mezzanine can be closed with curtains at the top and bottom, which makes it possible not only to offer different levels of privacy, but also to provide an element for zoning different areas. The space is designed to be a grand architectural retreat with a strong craftsmanship. The earth colors were chosen to enhance the idea of materialism, choosing a smooth cement floor with building elements, along with the walls in the same color with uneven plasterwork. The lighting brief was to enhance these elements while providing different levels of lighting appropriate to the specific areas.

With the aim of designing a multidisciplinary space that encourages creativity, the decision was made to show the reality of the building, leaving the original structure exposed while providing warmth and serenity through materials, earthy colors and light. The LEDS C4 lighting, with its Atom Track 52 headlights and Play High Visual Comfort adjustable downlights, blends with the geometry of the space and helps create a comfortable, relaxing environment. Additionally, Cocktail, Simply, Big, and Nude lighting fixtures from the Decorative Collection help create light sources in the creative space, while relating to the space’s monochromatic design scheme.

The end result is a calm and harmonious space defined by subtlety and simplicity. The project is practical, but it also draws attention to the plot materials and relates once again to the work of Six N Five with a focus on technology and space. In this project, lighting is an integral part of drawing all these threads together to complete the story.
