Teen mom Kaelyn Lowry showed off her stunning fireplace and home office in her Delaware mansion as transition day approached.
The reality star has documented the construction and design process for her followers every step of the way.

In Kailyn’s latest update, the MTV star gave fans a spin on the semi-finished product on TikTok while workers completed some last-minute touchups.
During the tour, the 29-year-old showed off the open floor plan of the house which also includes a huge closet, storage rooms, a home office, chandeliers, pendant lights in every room, a dog room, and a master bedroom with great views. Overlooking the spacious backyard.
Fans were kept updated on the construction progress via the TV character’s social media pages.
Kaelen purchased the land to build her home on it in February 2021 and has spent the entire year working on it.
In another recent update, Kailyn shared photos and videos of the latest parts of her home either finished or about to be completed.
She revealed in her Instagram Story videos that she wasn’t planning to go home, but she received a tip that some projects were finished and she wanted to appear on them.

“I was trying really hard not to come to the new house, but the electrician said he was going to put the lighting on the other side of the island yesterday so I didn’t show up yesterday and showed up here today and there were other things that were done so I am really excited to post about it here,” she said in the clip.
Kailyn shared a photo of her kitchen island lit up by ten pendant lights hanging above it.
She also gave fans a glimpse inside her massive wardrobe, showing off the large gold light fixture hanging there.
The Teen Mom star commented on the Instagram Story post: “&&&& Kyle lit up my wardrobe knowing these pieces were a huge pain to Kyle if you’re reading this, I appreciate you!”
Above her bed, according to her Instagram Story home tour, hangs a gold and glass chandelier.
She poured over the piece, writing: “I’m DIY.”
Kailin then moved to the fireplace that had not yet been completed.
I showcased the black patterned tiles that will surround it in the coming weeks.
According to her posts, the process for getting there was: “This is the stove tile! After 5 picks.”
Kaelen seemed so excited to be showing off her stockings, she spoke to fans about it before entering the house.
She showed it in its unfinished state, revealing her grand plans for the area.
In her Instagram Story post, the shelves inside the pantry wall could be seen on one side, while the other wall was empty.
Per Kailyn posts: “Okay, that’s the pantry! It’s not finished yet – still has to paint here and the liquor fridge, Icemaker and Keurig go the other way.”
Smack in design
The podcast host didn’t wow everyone with her updates, as she received some support from critics over her design choices.
Back in November, the Pennsylvania native was trolled for painting its roofs black.
After sharing a glimpse of one of the rooms in her home on Instagram, she wrote that she was “waiting for them to paint” it black.
The post included a poll asking if fans would paint their roofs black, but the majority of respondents answered “no.”
Kailyn’s post has made its way to Reddit, where she has come under further criticism for her casting. The original poster read: “Is she serious? Black roof of a house you want to sell in a few years.”
Fans also didn’t shine at Kailyn’s recent lighting purchases.
Kailyn similarly featured photos of new angular gold bulbs with several oversized bulbs on Instagram, and fans rushed to Reddit with harsh words.
The title of this thread was, “Kail lamps for her new home. So tacky.”
Operation Nightmare
A mother of four’s feelings about the renewal have changed in recent days as transition day approaches.
On a previous episode of her podcast Baby Mamas No Drama, the young mom revealed that she can’t wait for the process to be over.
She told co-host Vee Rivera, who has several of her real estate projects in the works.
Then Kaelen revealed, “I hate it.” “I love HGTV and I love watching people do it online and stuff, so I thought because of that interest I’d love to do it myself but hate it.”
On a different episode of the Coffee Convos podcast, Kail revealed to co-host Lindsie Chrisley that she’s “not excited” about moving into the home she’ll be sharing with her four sons and that it’s unclear when the move will happen.
She said: “My house is supposed to be finished in three weeks and I promise it probably won’t be until January or February at this point.
“I’m not excited anymore. I’m not very excited.
“It’s over my budget so far – more than the loan amount. My pocket money at this point is…I’m scared.”
Things seem to be going together for the starlet as she enthusiastically revealed that she “should be able to move in next week”.
