Although I’ve never been on a yacht before, one thing is clear – it’s cool as hell! These luxury ships take over the bodies of water, and are slowly becoming a preferred way to travel from one destination to another. How exciting is it to explore beautiful locations in these exotic vehicles? I mean you now have yachts that work as solar-powered floating pontoons, while some of them are inspired by sports cars! The yachting experience has been upgraded to a full-fledged spatter ball game. And we’ve curated some of the best yachts we’ve come across! From a swan-shaped concept yacht to a luxury yacht with a large vacuum in the middle – this collection of car designs will leave you absolutely dazzled, and excited to ride one of them!
1. Shape
This “look” baptized luxury yacht breaks all the basic rules of sailing and yacht design we’ve seen so far. It has a gap in the middle (just like those of modern skyscrapers) that acts as a surface for the sun and a unique visual appeal like never before. How will he deal with turbulent seas when the weather is hostile..a question for another day! The brutal concept is 69 meters long and 3.90 meters long for the yacht, offering a living space of 35 meters beyond the void. It has three floors hidden in the massive structure – the first floor has suites, the second floor is the communal living space, and the command center is on the third floor.
2. Ikaria
The silhouette of the head of the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise is a distinctly obvious element, and the traces of the Avanguardia yacht are also evident. So, has the Italy-based design house finally reached the saturation of its thinking hat? Certainly not, as the 279-foot-tall Icaria decks out plenty of deck space for two helicopters to park and a full tender garage to house a couple of watercraft, accessed via two retractable doors. The luxury yacht has an imposing arc followed by a large glass bridge. Icaria is designed more for explorers who love to walk in rough waters. For those times when adventure seekers need to cool off in the warmth of the sun, the gorgeous deck is located next to the hollow area that designers refer to as the “pit deck.”
3. Vanguard
Pierpaolo Lazzarini of Lazzarini Design Studio is known for his unique and unusual watercraft creations and this swan-shaped yacht “Avanguardia” tops the list. The name means “the vanguard” and comes from the location of the watchtower that floats like a swan’s head. Can you guess the Japanese 1970s manga that inadvertently inspired this? The Avanguardia is divided into 5 floors and can accommodate up to 60 passengers. “Swan Head” is the watchtower used to maneuver this 137-meter-long, almost gruesome yacht. Another interesting feature about the watchtower is that it can be detached from the “neck” and transform itself into a 16-meter auxiliary boat. When in motion, the mobile control tower can adjust the position of the Avanguardia by lowering itself directly to the center of the yacht.
4. Lazzarini GT Concept
By providing an idea of what a Ferrari would look like on the water, the Lazzarini GTM doesn’t give the car it might have been based on but brimming with horse DNA without a doubt. The two companies didn’t collaborate on the design, so you can’t characterize this as official, but the concept has a design that’s worth seeing the light of day one day. In addition to the inspiring look, the Gran Turismo Mediterranea is an 88-foot-tall sporty yacht crafted from Ferrari’s favorite carbon fibre. The Ferrari of the Sailor is undeniable, this design appears with the Ferrari badge on the front, gulls doors and a cabin that welcomes the owner and crew into a sporty cockpit that ensures you won’t feel any different from the Italian stallion driver’s seat to the pilot seat of this superyacht.
5. SeaJet
The SeaJet approved concept is a high-speed transport yacht wrapped in a sense of elegance and luxury – affluent travelers will be keenly interested in it. This watercraft will be stored in a luxury yacht and is designed to transport about 50 passengers from one place to another for short trips. Much like the Xenos and Jet Capsule superyacht, this 23-meter yacht is larger than a Jet Capsule and smaller than a Xenos – indicating a fleet of super watercraft in preparation for a deep sea travel experience.
6. Technomar
Tecnomar draws inspiration directly from the design details of the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 (both shown together in the video). On the surface, it’s very easy to draw parallels between a car and a yacht, simply because both need to be incredibly aerodynamic and aerodynamic, but the Tecnomar manages to do a lot more to look the part (aside from the angular hull, of course). Take, for example, the Y-shaped headlights, a detail taken straight from Lamborghini’s playbook (remember Terzo Millennio), or the zig-zag stepping on the aft of the yacht inspired by the Aventador’s aft profile.
7. Arkup 75
Arkup 75 allows you to live in comfort and luxury in complete independence – enjoy life between sea, sky and city. The yacht is 75 feet long and has a total living area of 4,350 square feet! 8. Drakkar S
The designer created a blueprint for the 85-foot luxury yacht called the Drakkar S inspired by ancient Viking longships, perfect for novice sailors who preferred the independent luxury of a ship. To make self-propulsion possible, the Drakkar S is fitted with advanced autopilot and artificial intelligence systems for intelligent navigation – detecting any underwater obstacles or even estimating the ideal distance for mooring. What’s more, it can be controlled with a smartphone app – which just sets the tone for a futuristic Apple yacht in silver or even in the colors of Space Gray.
9. Star
There are currently more than 5,000 luxury yachts on the planet, however, none of them look as impressive as Estrella. Designed by South Kore-based Yeojin Jung, Estrella hopes to break the mold of practical design for a “boring” superyacht with something that is a cross between luxury possible and the exotic. Designed to be a jewel of the seas, the Estrella was made for UHNWIs (or very high net worth individuals, as I just learned myself sorry), and features a split hull design that divides the yacht into the main component, and two component floats on either side, reminiscent of a seaplane.
10. Earth 300
Earth 300 is designed with a length of 300 meters and covered with a “science ball” 13 stories high, designed by marine engineer Evan Salas Jefferson (founder of Iddes Yachts) as a torchbearer for world science, which allowed us to do this. Kind “to expand our knowledge and understanding of the universe, above and below the surface of the ocean.” It is equipped with 22 state-of-the-art research laboratories, a cantilevered observation platform, and accommodates 160 scientists (along with dozens of other expert and student researchers), 164 crew members operating the ship, and finally an additional 40 members. Slots for “VIP”. However, this is the most impressive part of the Earth 300 ship… It runs entirely on “clean” nuclear power.
