25hours opens its first hotel in Scandinavia on 15 March 2022 – Hospitality Net

The 25hours Hotel Indre By has found its home in the heart of the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and will open its doors in the spring of 2022. The building, which dates back to the 19th century, housed a porcelain factory, and was later used as a university building factory. Centrally located between the Round Tower and Købmagergade shopping street, one newly constructed and three standing buildings are waiting to be explored. In fact the name says it all, because the Danish term “Indre Bye” means inner city or downtown. The hotel is within walking distance of Nørreport Train Station. This railway station is a central hub for metro, high speed trains and buses. It is also possible to fly directly to the airport from the station.

The interior design of the complex, comprising four buildings, was the result of a first-time collaboration between 25 Hours and London-based Martin Brudnitzky Design Studio. Henning Weiß, Copenhagen Project Manager, explains the unusual design ideas: “It was our basic idea when we were developing the concept for the hotel, which relates to the building’s previous use as part of a university. The passion, knowledge, art and science of finding a new home in the hotel are in an exciting mix.”

Designed in a “passion” and “knowledge” style, the 243 rooms range from small to gigantic and provide a haven to suit every traveler and their needs. Many rooms boast a small balcony and access to the Secret Garden – something unique in Copenhagen.

Whether it’s a vinyl room or a love library, there are places hidden throughout the hotel worth exploring. The Assembly Hall is the central meeting point and is the perfect place for a quick morning coffee, a snack after a stroll around the city or a drink before checking out Copenhagen’s nightlife. NENI Restaurant and Café Duse are destinations for hotel guests and locals alike, and Boilerman’s Bar downstairs is the perfect place for relaxing evenings with first-class music and drinks.

Located on the ground floor of the hotel next to the café, restaurant and bars is the conference area of ​​the 25hours Hotel Indre By. The View and Style rooms can accommodate meetings of up to 15 people. More “F**k everything” kind? This meeting room is also suitable for meetings of 15 people. The Vinyl Room, Doubt co-working space and giant suites are also ideal for use as break rooms or as relaxing meeting spaces.

The hotel’s spacious luxury area is located on the first floor. A fully equipped fitness studio with the latest gym equipment, yoga mats and balcony view awaits visitors. The outdoor sauna, which features indoor and outdoor deck chairs, provides guests with deep relaxation. Those who arrive early and wish to visit the city before check-in can use the power shower in a specially equipped section for early check-in or late check-out to recharge before their appointment with Copenhagen.
