SALEM, Oregon, Jan. 11, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Earth Gen-Biofuel Inc. (OTC: EGBB) announced additions to a new series of homes for production that will include one-piece homes. As one of America’s leading builders of manufactured homes under 1,000 square feet, the company responds to its customers’ needs for modular homes larger than the Park Model floor plans that captured all sales in 2021, still accounting for 100% of 32 Homes due for delivery in the eight weeks of 2022. New designs include larger homes built to meet HUD building codes that are still in the company’s “Sweet Spot” for manufacturing homes under 1,000 square feet.
Scott Debo, President of International Humanitarian City, said: “In an effort to increase sales and our client base, we have worked with our clients and home builders to design homes that serve the needs of community developers for one- and two-bedroom homes. These homes are intended to meet the building codes required by HUD. We believe the new additions to our product line will open up sales opportunities for a broader market. The company has expanded production at our Salem Oregon facilities and plans to develop new plant sites to support the manufacture of these additional floor plans.”
The new product line includes floor plans from 525 to 900 square feet of indoor living space. We expect prices to range between $90,000 and $120,000 depending on the selected residential finishing package. These new floor plans are consistent with our other designs in terms of style and finishes. The marketing of new floor plans fits well with our sales and marketing plans as customers of our existing line of Park Model RVs overlap with the same buyer of new home designs. Each of these new floor plans can be modified to cater to the many regional markets served by IHC. The company’s sales are currently concentrated in three regions, which include the Pacific Northwest for Residential and Leisure Communities, City Living Condominiums, and Southwest Communities in the Desert. We believe there is a rapidly growing demand for backyard housing units in California, Oregon and Washington.
The company is currently marketing in three major states where legislation has been passed to encourage homeowners to add additional living units to their single family property. Oregon, Washington, and California are among the most aggressive in supporting this market. The three states have enacted legislation supporting the concept of adding a single family in the backyard. The new regulations alter existing zoning to encourage counties and cities to allow owners of single family homes to add units to their properties to provide more housing where it is most needed in residential communities close to jobs. These changes are expected to add income opportunities to homeowners and provide additional housing stock in an effort to make housing more affordable by increasing supply.
The International Humanitarian City continues to have active discussions with community planners in both the Northeast and Southwest United States. The Company’s marketing plan 2022/23 targets planned development communities, as well as state and local municipalities with plans to address the low-income housing issues facing many of our nation’s major cities. We work with these organizations to find solutions to provide affordable housing in communities that have a growing demand for new homes.
