Battery Pods is a smartphone charging system that consists of a smartphone charging case and magnetic battery strips to provide your smartphone with a charge of 1400 mAh.
Everyone needs a charger, but no one wants to carry it. Battery packs are heavier than your smartphone and wired chargers rely on an outlet to actually function. So the question remains how our phones get the battery. PS Design Studio, known for visualizing smartphone accessories, tried a solution with Battery Pods, which are magnetic battery strips that charge your phone by attaching it to the accompanying phone case.

Similar to the Airpods battery pack, Battery Pods come in a convenient carrying case that charges on the go. Complete with seven battery packs, each Battery Pod comes with enough battery to keep your phone charged all day.

To fully charge your smartphone, Battery Pods come with a removable phone case that attaches to your phone and leaves a landing strip where battery packs can be magnetically attached. Once connected to a phone case, users can charge their smartphone on the go.

Each battery bar comes with a capacity of 1200mAh, which, when fully charged, typically gives you 6-7 hours of phone use time. The actual charging case of the phone comes with 3000mAh, which gives you up to 30 hours of phone use.

With a range of different colours, each battery strip retains its own color, making it easier for users to decipher which strips of batteries have been used that can still save some charge.
