Contemporary Tropical Architecture – The house is a contemporary tropical architectural approach that continues from the foundation of traditional indigenous tropical architecture in the new context of the urban environment and the materials and living culture of contemporary people. We use large spaces for the freedom of interior arrangement, communication between members in the house, communication between people with natural light and nature from outside and inside. Spaces in height and space spread across the plan allow air convection and natural ventilation to be maximized in the humid tropical environment, through slot systems and maximum door opening spaces.

In parallel with ventilation, the solutions are solutions to reduce solar heat radiation when the front facade of the house is directly affected by heat radiation all year round. The design uses a three-dimensional trellis stylized from the details of a traditional indoor cattle sunshade, to form a truss frame for growing vines like a green tree canopy. The materials selected for construction are popular in the market along with locally available natural materials such as wood, natural stone or handcrafted materials such as terrazzo.

He honestly shared a small excerpt from the letter: “It took a year to complete the house we live in. My family and I have a very nice and quiet life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This home is an architectural marvel. This is the tropical architecture my parents, sister and my little dog gave me after years of hard work. Just by standing outside and looking at it, anyone can tell how “green” this house is. The living room is connected to the dining room and the kitchen, along with the soft yellow light that shines in the room every morning creating depth and comfort. The kitchen is a favorite place for my mom, me, my sister, and even a mischievous dog named Mon.

Go up to the second floor my family’s bedroom. The bedrooms of our parents and sisters are connected by a path in the middle to connect each member of the family. Every morning when the sun’s rays enter the room, I wake up and get ready to start a new day. First, I will water the garden in the corridor between the two rooms and the garden on the balcony. Then I will clean the house and finally go downstairs to have breakfast with my dear family in the house I always dreamed of before. I really have a special affection for where I live and I am sure this will be the home that will give me the most complete and happiest childhood.”
