We are looking for an Architectural Designer who is passionate about learning and getting into the trenches of all scales and scope, from large adaptive reuse to small interior projects.
requirements:
-
BArch or MArch through an accredited program
-
2+ years for Architectural Designer level
-
Required competencies in Revit, Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
-
Additional efficiencies in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, freehand drawings and digital presentations are welcome
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills
-
Very helpful, not afraid to ask questions, and eager to learn
What you can expect:

Learn and follow Omgivning’s standards and design guidelines

Learn about local codes and the licensing process

Assist in preparing for meetings, presentations and presentations

Help with Revit Model Management

Practice diligent and efficient ways of getting things done including redlines, search, specifications, presentation layouts, image search and more

Learn professional communication and collaboration with managers and project team
-
Helps maintain organization within the office and projects
-
Demonstrate a basic understanding of architectural scopes and consultancy coordination
-
Participation and assistance in internal committees as desired
Compensation commensurate with experience. Includes benefits package with health insurance coverage. Dental, vision, and life insurance are optional. 401k after one year on the job.
