The grand designs of the talented art students hold the keys to a long-term partnership with one of the largest real estate agents in the country.
Learners on the Basic Studies course in Art and Design at Grwp Llandrillo Menai work alongside Williams Estates to develop their own photo series Home is where the heart is Campaign.
The group from the college’s Rhos-on-Sea website has created custom posters for innovative lighted window displays that capture the attention of clients and passersby at their offices in Holywell, Denby, Mold, Rail, Ruthen, Prestatin and Rodlan.
It comes as director Jason Williams and the team were once again named Best Rental Agency in Denbyshire at the 2021/22 British Property Awards, adding to the impressive array of industry customer service awards they have won this year.
Jason said: “We had a great year topped by the amazing work of the Llandrillo students.
“We are always keen to try and support the College and the next generation of artists and designers with realistic, real-time projects that will enhance our marketing and profile while giving them a lively experience.
“The end result is an amazing and eye-catching digital poster using different concepts that will surely catch the eye – we love it and thank them for their incredible efforts.”
This is the sixth year in a row that Williams Estates has submitted a creative brief to the Art and Design division.
“Every year they absolutely amaze us with what they’ve come up with,” Jason said.
“This Christmas is no different, they have outdone themselves again.”
Lecturer Dewey Owen Hughes added: “I fully support such links with industry as I believe that real-world creative work projects greatly enhance the experience and future employment of our art and design students.
“Our learners gain so much added value from working on this brief and can’t wait to see their creative work printed and used by Williams Estates in a modern LED pocket light display.”
“This is a testament to our employees, who – despite the challenges of the pandemic – have done their best,” said Jason, reflecting on their latest award win, which came just weeks after they won six ESTAS titles – including their ninth best sales agent gold in Wales. Our effort to support our customers and provide outstanding service.
“Recognizing this success at two high-profile celebrations from the industry is a great honor for us.”
