Warm and inviting, each room is full of personal style
Little elegant homes And A character like Farrah Fawcett. Walking through them gives a special glimpse into her personality – because she truly lives in every inch of the house. No rooms are alike, but each has the same cozy charm and the same easy, open warmth. “This house is very special to me,” says Farah. “I fell in love with it because I wanted an old house – with lots of fireplaces – so much I could do with it.” Working with Los Angeles designer Steve Chase, I worked in one room at a time. “It reflects my mood,” she says. “That’s why they are so different.” The living room – soft and dark and lined in luxurious suede – reveals Farah’s desire for a ‘night glamorous look’. It has comfortable seating around the fireplace at one end – at the other end is a large screen for movie shows, bar, stereo and Betamax, all hidden behind carved pine boards.
