House Z is the abode of serenity and ultimate privacy
Built on a plot of 700 square meters, along the main road to Tel Aviv neighborhood, ‘Z house’ was designed by milic harel architects as a Accommodation For ultimate serenity and privacy – making up for the shortcomings of its crowded location. To create this calm and private atmosphere, the architects introduced a two-tiered parapet at the entrance facade to the south: a whitewashed concrete wall complemented by a lush garden design.

Balances the stored entrance with an exposed facade
the a team In Milic harel, architects defined an entrance as a “hole in the wall,” or a place with a steel door. However, upon entering House Z, visitors eventually discover the exposed north facade that opens onto the back garden. The façade consists of four-meter floor-to-ceiling panes of glass that appear to float above the ground, providing an expansive view of the back garden – bringing indoor and outdoor spaces together. Faced with this level of exposure again, the height of the entrance floor and the back garden allow guest rooms to sit on half levels, above and below the entrance – leaving only one floor visible from street level.
