It can be difficult to choose a houseplant for your home. This is why we decided to seek stellar advice (sort of).
If you are planning to get a houseplant to beautify your interiors, how about one that matches your horoscope? This can help you find a plant that is a perfect fit for your personality and one that you can take good care of.
Read on to find out which houseplant best suits your zodiac sign:

Aries (March 21 – April 19) – Juicy
Fire sign, Aries is known for his strength, courage, and pride. It’s also low maintenance and you get what you see. Matching these qualities, succulents are a good choice for this zodiac sign. These cute houseplants are easy to take care of and do not require constant attention. Water it occasionally, place it in an area with plenty of light and you are good to go. Another advantage, these are available in different colors as well.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20) – fig leaf violin
Taurus is ruled by Venus, which is an Earth sign. People who fall under this zodiac are known to be hard-working, caring, stubborn and tend to enjoy things that are comfortable and luxurious. They also do their best for whatever task or assignment they may perform. Therefore, a high-maintenance leafy fig would be suitable for the home of Taurus. This plant is elegant, luxurious and will match the personality of its owner. This person needs their own space as they can be up to 10 feet indoors.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20) – air terminal
Known to mingle easily with the people around them, Gemini is a match made in botanical heaven. These plants feed on water and nutrients from the air and do not require soil to grow in. Just like Gemini, they are easy to live with and can survive in low light. The best part is that you can continue to change their positions and place them anywhere in the house.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22) – peace lily
The peace lily is a plant-shaped cancer sign. A water sign, Cancers are intuitive, caring, sensitive, and dedicated. She has been known to have had a meltdown or two, but if she is given a little attention she will be back to normal. The peace lily is a natural air purifier and its beautiful white flowers will highlight your interiors. If you miss watering it for a day or two, the leaves will start to wilt, but some TLC quickly and they’ll be back to their delicate nature.

Leo (July 23 – August 22) – Bromeliad
In the zodiac, Leo is the royal sign. The Leo is nurturing, warm, strong and has a fiery personality. Very cool and colorful bromeliads will fit into the home of a lion. This tropical house plant thrives in warm temperatures and doesn’t require much care. Leos love to be the center of attraction and this plant’s vivid flowers will surely be the talk of your house party.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22) – Rubber Factory
Virgos are often misunderstood as narcissists due to their need to pay attention to every minute detail. Perhaps this is one reason why the rubber plant – which can easily be mistaken for synthetic – is suitable for a virgin. People under this sign are deeply caring and dependable and will be able to keep this plant well maintained which requires the right amount of light and water.

Libra (September 23 – October 22) – Monstera
The need for balance and harmony is central to Libra’s diplomatic nature. They are also known to love cutting edge things and activities in life and enjoy art and culture. Therefore, monstera – a favorite among interior designers – is an obvious choice. The beautiful, symmetrically cut leaves will make the plant look like a piece of art in any corner of the house with moderate lighting.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 22) – snake plant
Snake plants can live almost on their own which makes them as independent as Scorpios. This is a low-maintenance plant with straight, pointed leaves that can reach 4 feet in height. Scorpios make sure to speak their mind and can still have an air of mystery around them.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21) – Maranta or prayer
Exuberant and fun-loving, this fiery sign is always on the lookout for the next adventure. They will always have an interesting back in question. Sagittarius can be a good parent of a maranta – a plant that maintains its changing positions in its pot during the day. The bold colors and patterns on the leaves make it the perfect accent piece in the home. This plant thrives in medium to high indirect light.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19) – Jade plant
Resilient and patient, Capricorns are also known for their practical nature. They invest time in their ideas to achieve the desired goals. These qualities make them an ideal mother to the jade plant – it takes time to grow and requires good care. This plant can reach 5 feet tall but it takes years to reach that height. Make sure to place it in a wide container to avoid it falling off because the top of the plant can weigh down.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18) – Pothos
It’s easy to think of as a water sign because of its name, Aquarius is actually an air sign. They are creative, eccentric, and do not like restrictions in the way of achieving their dreams. These qualities make Pothos a good match for Aquarius. With leaves resembling a green and white printed design, this plant pairs well with the creativity of the people under this sign. Pothos also has air-purifying qualities and can survive in any range of indoor lighting.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20) – spider plant
Pisces is compassionate, sympathetic and selfless. They are the people who will listen to your problems and be there with all the support you need. Therefore, the whale needs an indoor plant that is self-sufficient and does not require much attention which makes the spider plant an ideal choice. These are very low maintenance and make a beautiful decoration anywhere in the home or office.
