New York – Millennial nostalgia is here to stay and a new study finds that many people like to live on their favorite childhood TV set. In fact, a third of Americans were giving up everything to move into the palace from the “new Prince of Bel-Air”.
The study of 2,000 US residents looked at which popular TV homes were most in demand and found that 36 percent would like to move to Bel Air, California, the home of Will Smith’s aunt and uncle, if given the opportunity.

Participants in the homes of other popular TVs will move into the Pasadena condo at “The Big Bang Theory” (29%), the home from “The Brady Bunch” (28%), and the luxury condos from “Sex and the City” (19%).
One in three respondents (32%) will also book an intended vacation so they can drive past a prime TV or movie location.
The study, commissioned by an article on furniture brand OnePoll, revealed that Americans believe that renters from “The Big Bang Theory” apartment would be better neighbors (29%), the crew of “The Brady Bunch” (24%), and “friends” (23%). ), and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” (23%) are closely followed.
Looking at how Modern Home stacks up for the groups you watch on TV, the study found that 59 percent think their homes are nice enough to be a group of TV shows and nearly (55%) think their homes are the cutest in their friend’s circles.
When it comes to wardrobe inspiration, one in four say their wardrobe was inspired by their favorite TV show or movie characters.
“It’s no surprise that Americans turn to Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for decor inspiration. Its exterior is inspired by Georgian and neoclassical architecture that pairs with white oak and a neutral interior palette, to make it feel relevant,” says Chandra Borek, interior design expert for the article, In a statement. “Soft textured fabrics, curved shapes, furniture, and classic architectural elements are all essential to this look, which we see today in home décor.”

Two out of three people also pay close attention to the background decor of their favorite TV shows. In fact, eight percent go to extremes and design their home decor after some of the year’s most popular shows, including “Virgin River,” “Bridgerton,” and “The Circle.”
A quarter of respondents believe that TV shows such as “The Big Bang Theory” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” have the most elegant furniture of any TV show. Other shows with eye-catching decor include “Sex and the City” (23%), “The Brady Bunch” (20%), and “Bridgerton” (18%).
If they ever had the opportunity to own a piece of furniture from a popular TV show, the most popular pieces Americans would like to own include the Central Perk sofa from “Friends” (35%), the captain’s chair from “Star Trek” (31%), and the dining set from “The Golden Girls” (29%).
The average American makes small home improvements every five months. Eighty-four percent of them feel a “sense of joy” when making improvements to their homes.
“Like TV seasons, patterns change over time, so it’s no wonder Americans make small home improvements every five months,” Borek adds.
