The design expert is known for her distinctive and modern rustic interiors. We asked Shea McGee what colors she thinks it would be the Holiday colors for 2021.

“This holiday season, I’m really drawn to the idea of bringing back some classic holiday colors with muted, deep hues inspired by our winter surroundings,” Shea says. “I’ve been using so many warm red terracotta colors for everything from wrapping accessories to accent pillows!”

Warm reds and greens are perfect if you want to go for timeless and traditional Christmas decorations. You can’t go wrong with these classic options, and we think when paired with metallic, they create a truly luxurious hotel feel.
While bright red and green Christmas decorations bring plenty of energy to your space, softer tones make the overall scheme feel calm and relaxed. There is something so relaxing about the idea of taking the classic red and green that everyone associates with the holidays and choosing tones found in the natural world, from berries to foliage.
