Funimation will continue to operate as normal for the time being, but the move makes clear that Crunchyroll will be the main platform going forward, and any new anime starting in spring 2022 will only be available on Crunchyroll. Unifying all of our brands and services under the Crunchyroll brand globally enables us to offer more value than ever before as we combine subs , dubs, simulcasts, library, music, movies, manga\u2014all into one subscription.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The new Crunchyroll is the realisation of a dream, and we are grateful to the creators of anime and the millions of fans who have joined us in making the community what it is today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"article-video-container\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Funimation Premium currently costs $5.99 (\u00a34.99) a month while Crunchyroll starts at $7.99 (\u00a36.50) a month. <\/p>\n<p>Anyone already subscribed to Funimation, Wakanim, or VRV will be offered 60 days of Crunchyroll Premium for free.
