The architects asked for feedback from the community, and worked hard to successfully incorporate what we want! People asked for more public gathering space downtown, so this design incorporates a beautiful, spacious, outdoor 5000-square-foot rooftop garden. It will be an ideal place for events, programs, meeting friends, reading a book or working on a laptop! The design also features tons of natural light, acoustic soundproofing, a teen room and an exciting children’s area.<\/p>\n As part of the mixed-use aspect of the project, many of us want more affordable housing for low-income residents, and the architects delivered. Their new design features over a hundred units of 100% affordable housing!<\/p>\n It is wonderful to see how this project keeps getting better and better.
