“It was refreshing to downplay as a designer,<\/i>Claudia expresses. “If there is no decorative part then we do not need to use a material. The clean design philosophy also enables these selected materials to stand out and shine uniquely. Even the car’s architecture and chassis are shown, for example.<\/i>“<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\nCompact, the vehicle’s exterior features a clean monocoque made from the use of aluminum and secondary steel, which, with its recycling and reuse, is far less environmentally harmful than the extraction and manufacture of the primary materials. The aluminum is left without a paint finish to reveal a light gold anodized color that contrasts with the rich bluish-purple, created by heat-treated steel, at the rear of the car. The front end has been minimized to the max: the classic symbols of the kidney grille and headlights are reinterpreted as digital surfaces, and the black bumper uses recycled plastics to form a sophisticated marbled optic. The slightly transparent tires are made of certified sustainable natural rubber.
