A brief initial exercise consists of space planning where we can improve efficiency for each space. Then we looked at the efficiency of how spaces are used and how those spaces relate to each other. Safety was a very important aspect for the client as they had three children under the age of ten. Glass partitions with insulated doors have been installed to prevent access to unsupervised pool areas. The final stage was the creation of a pre-study and design concept that meets the clients’ brief. \u201cThe design and structure of this project is inspired by the clients\/family lifestyle as well as the current economic situation. A lot of projects were modified during this period to meet the effects of the pandemic situation,\u201d said Nael Sherif, founder and lead designer at NGS Architects.<\/p>\n

This family’s unique lifestyle allowed a greater scope for creativity. A family of three young children, a husband and a wife, and a close family of brothers and sisters and parents\/grandparents, a client’s work life changed. The pandemic has led to more time at home, a halt to all business trips, and the need to create a harmonious environment in which everyone’s needs can be met. The scheme will function as a place of business\/to meet the needs of family members as well as a place to relax and serve as a holiday destination at the same time.<\/p>\n

The clients brief was very brief, to create areas for greeting guests, work, children’s play area, swimming\/spa, outdoor dining and BBQ area overlooking the pool. The project is fully automated (sound \/ light \/ wifi) and is controlled from the palm of the hands.<\/p>\n

The landscape architecture has been carefully created to allow for a dreamy experience where one feels that he is in a different world from the world of the villa structure. Variation works in some way to serve the property as a unique whole. The modern arabesque touch of the villa and the minimalist modernity of the garden bring the two worlds together in harmony during day and night. There are many practical and useful features throughout.<\/p>\n

\"\"An extended terrace at the back allows the family to sit together to enjoy the pool and not worry about space constraints. The existing wooden pergola legs were taken out and the pergola was secured back by high tension wire rods to provide room for movement. The walking path in front of the caveman allows children to play with their bikes in a circular\/triangular motion. Glass barrier gates protect everyone from injury whether it’s children entering the pool unattended by adults or people falling due to level differences.<\/p>\n
