Credit: via AHR\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<em><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/em>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<header>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<time class=\"date\" datetime=\"2022-01-12T10:57:00+00:00\">January 12 2022, 10:57<\/time>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h3>Julia Hatmaker<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<p>Robert Hopkins has been appointed Director and Head of Sustainability, Imran Qasim is now Director and Lead MMC, and Gurminder Sangira has been appointed Director of Engineering and Building Advisory.<\/p>\n<p>Hopkins and Kassem will be based in Manchester, while Sanghera will work from his Leeds company position.<\/p>\n<p>Managing Director of Architecture, Anthony Langan, AHR said: &#8220;The main members of the team at AHR, Robert, Gurminder, Amran and deliver exceptional design solutions in all construction sectors and very well worth their own promotions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hopkins joined AHR in 2003 and has been a leader in formulating the company&#8217;s sustainability strategy.  He led the architectural team behind the backbone at Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough innovative design, we can create spaces that protect our environment and encourage a sustainable future,\u201d said Hopkins.<\/p>\n<p>He continued, &#8220;As architects, we focus on creating spaces that enhance the lives and well-being of users.&#8221;  \u201cWith the climate emergency, we all need to embrace this, from the way we live, how we work and how we learn.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am thrilled with this opportunity to continue to champion this internally and to fulfill the ambitions of our clients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kasim joined the company in 2001 and has been a champion of modern methods of building design.  He is an expert in the processes behind MMC as well as technical requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am honored to be part of a practice that provides not only excellent levels of design quality but exemplary levels of customer service as well,\u201d Kassem said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeading the highly talented people at AHR using the latest technology is an exciting prospect, which will help us continue to provide smart solutions to the health, education, and housing challenges facing our communities and society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AHR has more than 300 employees across its offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Shrewsbury and Leeds.
