idea
The beautiful white Highlight House is located in the heart of DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon. The idea behind the design of this unique house is exactly the client’s request for lavish design with a touch of classic architecture. So the design is inspired by the style of neoclassical architecture. <\/p>\n
The basic concept behind the design was to make it simple, luxurious and grandiose. The type of architecture of this house is simple building floor classification. The idea was to stack the floors on top of each other. The ground floor will be used as a car park while the first floor will be like a 2BHK floor and the other three floors will each be in a 3BHK style. To brighten the house at an appropriate height it is designed slightly differently from the surrounding house styles.<\/p>\n
Challenges
While designing any structure, there are many challenges that architects face. To deal with challenges, there is always a possible way out. One of the challenges that the architecture firms in Gurgaon faced while working on this project was to build a building floor that does not look like the traditional building floor from the outside instead of looking like a single storey. Incorporating the building floor between the homes in that area was a difficult challenge. Few of the electrical, electrical and plumbing related challenges to the buildings, which had to be addressed on site. One of the design challenges was connecting the first floor to the ground floor, as one of the master bedrooms was on the ground floor which was connected through the first floor lobby. Even blending classic and modern elements into the elevation design was also quite a challenge. <\/p>\n
design process
The White Highlight is the typical building floor detail of the various outstanding attractive features. We assembled the house in such a way that the height of the building appears heavy on one side so that the house can be distinguished among the neighbours. The building floor is divided into three parts sequentially: the ground floor is for parking, the first floor will serve as a typical apartment with two bedrooms and two floors, the third floor and the fourth floor have 3 bedrooms each. The ground floor serves as parking stilts for front and rear parking, and caters to the master bedroom overlooking the open garden in the backyard. Design elements are evenly separated and highlighted in the superstructure.<\/p>\n
The iconic house follows the simple geometric pattern in the facade. The columns are covered with flutes and the horizontal cornice is beautifully exaggerated. Covering the walls of the house is excellent molding work. Balconies and terraces balustrades offer a glimpse of classic architecture giving a modern touch. The southern part of the house has a pillar to increase the entry of natural light in the morning as well as throughout the day.<\/p>\n
If we talk about the color combination of this building it is amazing. The house structure uses a neutral color scheme to make the building unusual among the neighbours. As the name implies, the elements of the house are highlighted in white so that the part of the house is out-shine. The back walls are painted in different colors that can be easily distinguished from afar. The building exemplifies the perfect color scheme.<\/p>\n
The height of the building is charming to the eye. Designed by Gurgaon Architects, the simple building floor depicts the excellent work of intricate detailing.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
