The Anant Center for Sustainability, affiliated with Anant National University, has launched two new Executive Education programs – a one-week certificate course in \u201cAffordable Living Design\u201d and a one-year course called \u201cEntrepreneurs in Residence\u201d. Interested candidates can register for both programs until February 10, 2022. Classes for both programs will begin in February 2022.<\/p>\n
This is the first degree course in Affordable Living Design announced by Anant National University. The week-long course will start on March 4, 2022, according to the release from the university.<\/p>\n

The course provides knowledge about the different materials used to design affordable living products, while diving deep into the properties of laminated corrugated board, a very affordable material. By the end of the course, students should build product prototypes, enhancing learning by integrating theory and practice. During the course, students will then learn how to position, launch and market the product they are making.<\/p>\n Besides the degree programme, Anant National University has also announced EIR, a unique year-round structured support program that invites start-ups and entrepreneurs in affordable housing, building construction, research, real estate, and design. and technical support spaces, the university claims. Each year, three selected entrepreneurs have the opportunity to benefit from the unique ecosystem offered by the university and its partners.<\/p>\n Entrepreneurs should get support and guidance from industry mentors and subject experts in the university and its affiliated organizations to improve their products and services and take them to market. The program offers the physical infrastructure such as a modern art makers space, library, workspaces, extensive knowledge of the industry and the pool of faculty, researchers and students available at Anant National University.<\/p>\n EIR has partnered with the Brigade REAP Accelerator to help program entrepreneurs access Brigade’s extensive network, ecosystem and financing options through mentoring sessions and one-on-one workshops.<\/p>\n reading | Currency note press recruitment open for 149 jobs, salary up to Rs 95,910<\/strong><\/p>\n Commenting on the announcement of the two new Executive Education programs, Dr. Minya Chatterjee, Director of Anant\u2019s Center for Sustainability and CEO, Sistine Labs, said, \u201cAnantU\u2019s offering of Executive Education courses in sustainability fills a critical skills gap in entrepreneurial capabilities to create scalable affordable living solutions.\u201d .<\/p>\n She added, \u201cWe have not yet learned about inequality and the skills to overcome it in high school, which makes it difficult for entrepreneurs to build products, services and business models that are incentivized to create a more equitable society.
