SOUTH ABINGTON – Moderator and musician come together to create new work in South Abington that delivers interior d\u00e9cor, combined with creativity and intuition.<\/p>\n

Scranton native Marisa Lisa Bell has long appreciated architectural beauty and motion pictures. So, when it came time to go to college, I enrolled at Dickinson, earned a bachelor’s degree in photography, and then moved to Boston where she earned a master’s degree in film, media, and video production.<\/p>\n

In addition to her love of pictures, Belle also has a second talent: her intuition. For 25 years, she has been a regular as an intuitive medium on radio and television programs for the Philadelphia area.<\/p>\n

But when she met Bill Alexander Wyman, a successful musician, several years ago, she was ready for a new chapter.<\/p>\n

Wyman was skilled not only in music, but also in carpentry.<\/p>\n

Together, the couple decided to start a new business called Snowy Peak Design Co. , which includes interior design and construction, with intuition and creativity.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe take a person\u2019s energy and make their space an extension of themselves,\u201d Bell said. “It’s their energy that is being recreated in space.”<\/p>\n

Bell pointed out the difference between designing an agreeable living space and one that is an extension of the energy and spirit of those who use it.<\/p>\n

It tells the story of a businessman whose profit faltered and he did not know why.<\/p>\n

After redesigning his workplace, the financial business started well again.<\/p>\n

Another family lost their father\/husband, and wanted to remodel their kitchen, expecting to sell their house.<\/p>\n

“They’ve been going through a lot of grief and want to renovate their kitchen,” Bell said. “The daughter had a dream but she was not able to make it come true.”<\/p>\n

So when Bell consulted with the family, she responded to the daughter and her dead father.<\/p>\n

The daughter wanted the kitchen to be blue, but Bell suggested incorporating blues in a different way, as part of a larger theme.<\/p>\n

“We’ve created a dream kitchen,” she said. \u201cWhen we did the reveal, they were shedding tears. They thought she was so beautiful and she was an extension of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bell encourages people to share their life stories with her, rather than just scrolling through a magazine and pointing out what they want.<\/p>\n

People often get frustrated when choosing a design, and then end up choosing a “canned” design that may be nice, but isn’t right for them.<\/p>\n

Wiam noted that in addition to the quality of the interior decoration, the business provides great customer service and respect for customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomehow, people invite us into their homes and trust us,\u201d Wyman said.<\/p>\n

Through the use of elements such as wood, natural stone, woven textiles and organic lighting design, they can combine transitional spaces with the qualities of simple and elegant nature. Alex’s lively, custom wood edging appears in many of her designs.<\/p>\n

Even the company name is important.<\/p>\n

It is named after a couple who took a trip to Snowy Range in Wyoming, where they were immersed in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
