In the very damned but surprisingly ordinary Sydney rental news, not only did a woman die but was found rotting and decomposing for eight long years in a Surry Hills rental that now costs just $900 a week. I haven’t met the real estate agents behind this property but you just know they would describe this place as a heritage home with history and character (and a scary one at that).<\/p>\n

On a recent TikTok, user @emdeebs said it had applied for a three-bedroom spot at 139 Kippax Street Surry Hills with “extremely renovated” backyards and kitchens, sliding-out glass doors to the exterior, a cobblestone backyard, nice-sized bedrooms, and a modern bathroom. bougie AF all for $900 a week.<\/p>\n

Then while searching for the property on Google, I accidentally bumped into the Google News tab and oh boy, what I found is WILD.<\/p>\n

According to an old article in the Sydney Morning Herald, a 79-year-old woman at the time was Natalie Jean Wood<\/strong> Not only did she die there, but her corpse remained there unnoticed for eight long years. I don’t even want to start figuring out what she looked like when she was found by NSW Police.<\/p>\n

Wood’s body was reportedly found by officers in June 2011, which means he was there to unlock the iPhone, the former prime minister Kevin Rudd<\/strong>The first run, the cinematic version of its origins<\/em>And are taken<\/em> And Remnants.<\/em><\/p>\n

There is a lot to take in about this story. When officers found the woman’s body, her body was so decomposed that it was nothing but bones and some dentures. The animals ate what was left of it. Very awful and ugly things.<\/p>\n

After discovering the date of the house, TikToker said, “So, I think I’ll remove my order.”<\/p>\n

Honestly, nothing screams twenties in the Sydney rental age almost like applying for a house without a doubt ever haunted.<\/p>\n

According to the listing on Real Estate.com, someone sent a deposit for the place. The ad also describes the home as “a one-of-a-kind courtyard garden terrace, and this residence features bright, newly painted interiors throughout. With quality renovations in the heart of the city, it’s a move-in ready home with a great new personality.”<\/p>\n

He did not mention the tragic tragedy that occurred in its walls.<\/p>\n
