Shang-Chi concept artist Andy Park showed fans some unused costume designs for Simo Liu, and they don’t look like the final version.<\/p>\n

Marvel Studios Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings<\/em><\/strong> It was released in theaters earlier this year and has done incredibly well despite the ongoing pandemic, which has kept many people from going to theaters. Now, the new shang chi<\/em> Concept art gives fans an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat Simo Liu could have worn as an Honorary Champion.<\/p>\n

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings <\/em>It is the first Marvel Studios martial arts movie in the superhero franchise in a long time. The movie had a stunning final fight that included a lot more CGI than many expected, yet it kept the martial arts formula alive in a cohesive way. The final battle also featured a mystical figure known as the Great Protector, who took a lot of work to revive.<\/p>\n

Now, Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park has taken to Instagram to share two different concepts for the Shang-Chi suit. The first photo shows a costume concept close to the actual Shang-Chi costume that the filmmakers used. \u201cThat was before I incorporated dragon skin\/scales, and this had a bit of a modern urban flavor with the hoodie and everything,\u201d Park says. The artist added that the dragon in the background was added “just for fun”.<\/p>\n

The second image contains a version of the costume that differs from the one seen in the final version of shang chi<\/em>. The look was clearly not used by the filmmakers, but it’s a very cute concept and looks more like a battle suit than it actually does. The all-black design gives a more “spy” look to the character, which is why Park says, “This is the kind of kung fu champion type suit I have to explore. Maybe this lent a MI Spy-a significant 6 look.”<\/p>\n
The concept of art helps to show the vision the filmmakers had while they were working on the film. Now this <\/em>shang chi<\/em> On Disney Plus, fans who haven’t seen the movie in theaters can now see how the crew’s hard work ended. The movie is a great watch and a nice introduction to the next phase of the Marvel Studios movie. Threats increase, stakes increase, and there will be absolutely nothing for the MCU heroes, even after Thanos is gone. If they are ready for the next threat, the heroes will need to continue building a larger team of warriors.<\/p>\n
