The company won second place in the category of Best Home Redesigner and third place in the Best Interior Design category. Freestone Design-Build has been nominated and placed for several years in a row in these categories. <\/p>\n
The annual awards stem from a rigorous and lengthy nomination process that begins in September and ends in December, when votes are tallied and awards are awarded. Nominations are submitted on behalf of businesses across multiple categories, including professional services, retail, restaurants, and many more. The best candidates are then placed in an official poll to be completed by the readers of NOCO Style Magazine. Freestone Design-Build has been nominated by many of its current and past clients, as well as those in their professional and personal networks.<\/p>\n
The company was founded in 1996 by native Fort Collins and husband\/wife team Scott and Sherry Freestone. Scott is a highly skilled and experienced remodeler with more than 30 years of hands-on experience, who has demonstrated success remodeling residential housing in Northern Colorado. Sherry is an accomplished interior designer whose role in the firm is to serve as the senior designer and oversee the design and also to run the firm’s Old Town studio at 222 Pine Street. Scott and Sherry are working to hire two of their three children. Son, Logan, along with Scott work in hands-on production and project management, and their daughter Savannah, an interior designer, works in the studio with her mother. <\/p>\n
