Saigebrook Development and Accolade Property Management Friday announced the official unveiling of Cielo Place with a ribbon-cutting party at 10 a.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n
The event will take place on the renovated campus of the former Riverside Baptist Church, today reimagined and renovated as a mixed-income residential community at 3111 Race Street in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n
Texas Representative Ramon Romero, District 9 City Councilor Elizabeth M. Beck, Investing Partners, and project leadership will deliver remarks.<\/p>\n
Riverside Baptist Church was initially designed and built by Easterwood and Easterwood Architects in 1924 and expanded in 1951 and 1958. In 2020, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.<\/p>\n
Cielo Place will consist of 91 total units with a mix of studios; one bedroom, one bathroom; Two-bedroom, two-bathroom, three-bedroom, and two-bathroom options.<\/p>\n
Miller-Slayton Architects and interior design firm Ink & Oro are tasked with preserving and preserving the integrity of historic architecture and design while imbuing it with modern amenities.<\/p>\n
Many small, intentional elements have been kept and restored throughout the building to return to the original purpose and design.<\/p>\n

As we peeled back the layers of this building \u2014 painstakingly preserving and restoring the woodwork, stained glass windows, lighting fixtures, and structural components \u2014 we also peeled back the layers of history and learned a lot about the history of this church and the community that they’ve gathered here over the years.”<\/p>\n
As the focal point of the community’s common area, several rows of seating from the original temple, original altar and baptistery, as well as the glass window behind them, are untouched.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
