Robert Hopkins has been appointed Director and Head of Sustainability, Imran Qasim is now Director and Lead MMC, and Gurminder Sangira has been appointed Director of Engineering and Building Advisory.
Hopkins and Kassem will be based in Manchester, while Sanghera will work from his Leeds company position.
Managing Director of Architecture, Anthony Langan, AHR said: “The main members of the team at AHR, Robert, Gurminder, Amran and deliver exceptional design solutions in all construction sectors and very well worth their own promotions.”
Hopkins joined AHR in 2003 and has been a leader in formulating the company’s sustainability strategy. He led the architectural team behind the backbone at Liverpool.

He continued, “As architects, we focus on creating spaces that enhance the lives and well-being of users.” “With the climate emergency, we all need to embrace this, from the way we live, how we work and how we learn.

Kasim joined the company in 2001 and has been a champion of modern methods of building design. He is an expert in the processes behind MMC as well as technical requirements.

Recent Northwest projects include Hempishere Sciontec’s developments in Liverpool, Peel L&P Manchester Waters, and the Whitmer based Chester-Scheme 132 apartments near the Shropshire Union Canal.
